Our Story

When I was young, I often wished someone had mentored me.

I imagine how different my life might have been if someone had come alongside me to guide me and help me grow in wisdom. My mom raised my sister and me on her own after my dad passed away when I was six years old. She worked incredibly hard and did the best she could to provide for us.

But aside from teachers, I often wished there were other caring adults who could journey with me—people who could support my mom in shaping and guiding my life.

I wish someone had taught me how to be wise with money.
How to be confident and secure in who I am.
How to navigate difficult friendships.
How to manage my time and energy well.

After more than 12 years of working with children, I began to see that many kids today face the very same challenges.

GodZeala was born out of that desire—to come alongside families and provide the kind of mentorship I once wished I had. A place where kids can grow in wisdom, character, and confidence as they prepare for the life ahead.

What GodZeala Is About

GodZeala is a mentorship program designed to help children develop the life skills they need to thrive in the real world.

Through small group mentorship, camps, and workshops, we guide kids in areas that are rarely taught in school but are essential for life—such as confidence, emotional resilience, financial wisdom, healthy relationships, and personal responsibility.

Our sessions combine practical life skills, reflective conversations, creative activities, and mentorship from caring adults who are passionate about seeing kids grow.

At the heart of GodZeala is a Christ-centered foundation. We believe that true wisdom comes from God, and we aim to help children discover values like integrity, perseverance, generosity, and purpose.

At the same time, our programs are welcoming to families of all backgrounds. Children are never expected to make any religious commitment. Instead, we seek to create a safe and encouraging environment where every child can learn, grow, and ask meaningful questions about life.

Our Vision

We believe every child deserves wise voices in their life.

Our hope is to raise a generation of young people who are:

• Confident in who they are
• Wise in their decisions
• Resilient through challenges
• Grounded in strong values
• Ready to contribute positively to the world around them

Because when children are equipped early with wisdom and character, it shapes not only their future—but the future of the communities they will one day lead.
